They now love Medicare, the GOP proposed a bill to “protect” Medicare even though they’ve been generally opposed to any form of public insurance..

In an effort to oppose the President at every turn, they have rallied and/or voted against almost everything President Obama has proposed and supported; even conservative things like tax cuts, spending cuts, pay-go, and deficit commissions, good ideas that Republicans allegedly used to stand for, they now oppose.

@JinxMcHue

His father likely had told him that before he got worse, you don’t know, you weren’t there. When he started losing it, he couldn’t speak at all.

Oh, so his dad …
Oh, so his dad WANTED him to do this. That makes it okay. Yeah, his dad who is so mentally unstable that he asked his son to kill him. Yeah, you’re right. It’s perfectly fine to trot out your sick father to make your political point when he asks you to do it. Yep.

Please. You and I both know that if Sarah Palin had done this exact same thing to argue against government-run healthscare, Special Keith would’ve had another one of his special moments and condemned it.

ROFLMAO!!!! Wow. I’m sure your father really appreciates you dragging him around to make your political points. Have you no shame, sir?

Using your fathers …
Using your fathers illness to make a political point….ugh. Forget all those specialists if you get single payer. Forget getting immedaite treatment too. You’ll just have to wait 10 months to get that treatment, and have no one checking on you when you’re in pain. Your system needs reforming, but not the introduction gov’t run system. The NHS stinks over here.

Thank you Keith for …
Thank you Keith for sharing this intimate and painful story. As an RN with over 26 years experience you can perhaps imagine how many of these stories I have seen. To see all our attempts as medical professionals at preserving autonomy and ethical choice reduced to political phrases such as “death panels” is horrifying.. it is difficult to not become bitter at those who have been so easily fooled , , , Please keep speaking out for those who desperately want to maintain choice and dignity
