If Sarah Palin got a personal history/government tutor to teach her for 1 year, what would happen?

I think Palin is cool, but she could use a little brushing up on her history.

I’m saying, if a good tutor came over and taught her about politics, history and geography, after 1 year, do you think Sarah would show a marked improvement on her knowledge? Would she become more comfortable speaking on these subjects. If not, then how long would it take for Palin to learn more about history, etc?

Don’t you think that will be a torture to the instructor? He will be insane. She has the money to buy history and geography for dummies.

she’s already had a year. honestly, i thought by now she’d be able to handle herself a lot better in the media but it looks like she’s made no improvement. she must not be making much of an effort or she simply doesn’t have the mental capacity.

What Palin really needs is to loose the glasses, adopt a north eastern accent and talk like a Kennedy. Then the liberal elite would accept her as a knowledgeable elitist like themselves. Palin isn’t lacking intelligence or knowledge, she just delivers her answers with a Minnesota/Canada drawl adding in the occasional "Yeah sure you betcha" that drives liberals nuts. Her knowledge of Geography is fine, it was Tina Fey not Sarah Palin that said you could see Russia from her house. Palin said you could see parts of Russia from Parts of Alaska and it’s true (they are less than 2 miles apart at one point.)

She’s much more knowledgeable on history and government than Obama and he got voted in with less qualifications and less experience as well.

I’m not saying she couldn’t learn a few things, but why didn’t anyone think it was necessary to educate Obama before electing him? We could have avoided the embarrassment of all those gaffs from thinking we have 57 states to mispronouncing easy words on his teleprompter. And Joe Biden is the dumbest VP ever. He makes Carter look intelligent.

Come to think of it, maybe intelligence is not such a high priority for electing a president. Common sense might be a better quality. Palin definitely has more common sense than most politicians today. That can only help her get elected to fix the mess these uneducated democrats have created in just a few years.

Surely it would be better to take someone who hasn’t already had all the chances and luck in the world and teach them. I doubt if Sarah can hear or learn anything even if she could stop to listen.

I’m not sure. How long does it normally take to train a parrot to repeat the sound bites. Have to check with the pet store and see if a year is long enough.

She knows Reagan’s history and she wants to repeat it. Reagan was president for 8 years and he won re-election by winning 49 states, including DC. Can you say WOW?
