@koren1124 Yes, it’s exactly the same Cheney. His relative tolerance for gays has always been the lone bright spot in his personality.

Conservatives usually have one token issue that they can act fair or tolerant or compassionate about; in Dick’s case that issue is gay rights because he has a gay daughter (not Liz who is always on news shows, the other one.) But he’s still a bloodthirsty totalitarian.

You mean insulted and smeared by ideological hacks without an ounce of analysis… I like vigorous debate, and that necessitates different perspectives. But Ed and Olbermann are not serious political analysts, they only use rhetorical gimmicks, they’re expected and boring… if that’s your cup of tea, it’s fine, but don’t try to mascarade what they do as ‘hardball politics.’ By-the-way, I’m no fan of Cheney either so don’t let your reductionisms about reality get the best of you.
