He did try to reach across the aisle.

Republicans wanted tax cuts, you got them. Get rid of the funding for contraceptives? Done.

The fact that he is even LISTENING to any conservatives is much better than what we have been afforded the past 8 years.

As for a socially conservative group, they are dwindling. The only conservatives who will have a chance for a long time are socially liberal and fiscally conservative.

I sure hope so.. I can’t stand bigoted social conservatives, so if they’re unhappy, Obama is certainly doing something right, and America is on the right track!

So in other words, you lost the election and are now in the minority, and you’re angry that Obama won’t do things your way although most people have clearly decided they’re sick of doing things your way?

Did I sum up your position pretty accurately?

You conservatives complain, and yet, not one of you has stated exactly how you want him to "reach across the aisle," or how you would consider "compromise" anything other than simply caving in to every single one of your demands.

A storm, of sorts - a tempest in a teapot. He has a higher approval percentage now than the percentage that voted for him.

If you expected him to "cooperate" with the conservatives by giving in to them on every point, then no wonder you’re upset. If you were a little more realistic on the definition of bipartisan, you might be better able to cope.

Is there a gathering storm of social conservatives?
I have tried to give president Obama a bit of time to see what is going on with both him and the congress. I see no reaching across isles or anything that looks like listening to conservatives of any kind.What kind of group is there for me to join that is conservative not republican.I feel lied to and angry.
