I think obama is …
I think obama is doing fine. he is doing the best he can. Think about it this way, he had to do n very unpopular yet needed health care reform for is approval rating to drop down into the 40 percentile. Bill clintons dropped in the 30’s back in the 90’s. He will do find and he will be re-elcted in 2012.

Many doctors are …
Many doctors are opting out of medicare/medicaid and it’s becoming a problem in some parts of the country. NYT just did a story on this. Insurance is high because medical costs are high. Look at Non profit Blue/Cross Blue Shield their insurance is sky high too. All the Dems care about is getting everybody to pay and have insurance and little to actually reduce the cost. This is not what I call reform.

Tell it to Biden, …
Tell it to Biden, he recently stated Iraq could be their greatest achievement, “You’re going to see a stable government in Iraq that is actually moving toward a representative government”.

Neither this bill or the public option lowered premiums. They need to wipe the slate clean and start over with true reform. Hark thinks money just grows out of some politicians and he calls me the moron.

There is no need to …
There is no need to “start over” because no matter what is proposed - anything proposed - people will be against it. These people who say “start over” really means “drop it”.

WHat’s the point of …
WHat’s the point of starting over? What that simply means is drop it. No matter what you propose people will be against it. So why start over? That’s idiotic.

Maybe you don’t …
Maybe you don’t care about health care reform, but the majority of Americans want and need it. If you dont do anything, more and more hospitals will shut down due to lack of insurance, and our health care will become third world. Maybe you live on Medicare or Medicaid-oh, sorry, that’s socialized medicine. Maybe Obama SHOULD grant what you want-do away with socialized medicine and trash medicare and medicaid and leave it ALL up to private insurance.

Oh invading Iraq …
Oh invading Iraq for false reasons didn’t disgust you?Not to mention tried and failed economic polices being rehashed for the benefit of the rich? Also, if you wanna be taken seriously don’t start off with the conservative line for anything that upsets them, “ramming things down our throat”.If the public option had been included, the only thing being rammed down your throat would have been lower health care costs. But instead a bunch of morons like you shouted it down till it died.

You’re welcome. I …
You’re welcome. I and other Republicans in my family crossed party lines (for the first time for me, not sure about the rest of them) and voted for Obama. I never had liked McCain and he picking Palin was the nail in his coffin, she needs to be kept as far away from the White House as possible.

And unless my fellow Republicans can come up with a stellar candidate I’ll probably vote for Obama again in 2012… I just like the man.

Do I agree with everything Obama has been doing though? No.

How am I not a …
How am I not a Republican? One doesn’t have to blindly follow along with the rest of their party to be a “true” member. People from both parties often disagree with things their party is pushing (or in this case trying to stop) but they’re still very much a part of their party.

Not every Republican is against healthcare reform, specifically the version about to be passed this weekend.

If by “single payer” you mean the system Europe has, what’s so bad about that? Theirs is far better than ours

@12Shilo12 That’s a shame, because your “moderates” and “buddies” in the democrat party shall be flushed in November. You are entitled to your opinions but not when you opinions are full of shit.

@12Shilo12 You are …
@12Shilo12 You are obviously not a republican, and if you are, get the out of the new conservative party. Obviously, you don’t understand and how this isn’t cost reducing reform but a base for single payer. If I didn’t know better I’d say you were David Brooks

The argument seems …
The argument seems to be is this a right or a privilege? I think this is grossly overdue, Everyones premiums will drop, The system will be more likely to help you rather that making you take a means test, when you have a job, and already have insurance. Thats just poor to no regulation/ would you defend the right of meat packers to make a profit while rats got in the meat, or would you demand regulation. This is the same thing.. Truth is bill dosnt go far enough. Big gov VS.. small gov argument

For the first time …
For the first time in my life I am disgusted with the United States. Our government is ramming things down our throats, they don’t listen to the people.

If any of our elected officials in Washington are read this, for once please listen to the people. You are accountable to us, not the people in the beltway. Stop this healthcare bill and start over.
